From Aalborg to Rødovre: 4,000 meals served and one strong partnership

Yesterday, the peloton crossed the finish line in Rødovre, marking the conclusion of this year’s PostNord Tour of Denmark and our first event as the official hospitality partner of the Danish Cycling Union.

From the opening stage in Aalborg to the final finish in Rødovre, our colleagues delivered VIP hospitality in every start and finish town.

In total, we provided catering for more than 4,000 VIP guests and members of the race crew, including grab-and-go meals for the support vehicles following the race.

At the same time, we helped create great food experiences in the fan zones in Vejle and Rødovre, where spectators could enjoy a wide selection of food trucks.

It has been five days of logistics, gastronomy and hospitality in constant motion across Denmark. Delivering an operation of this scale requires careful planning, close collaboration and a dedicated team of Compass colleagues.

“What makes me most proud is our colleagues. The execution has been outstanding from start to finish – five cities in five days, where logistics, service and hospitality came together seamlessly. We turn strong execution into memorable experiences that create value for both our partner and their guests,” says our Commercial Director, Martin Pinstrup, and continues:

“It is also something truly special to be part of an event followed by so many people across Denmark. Partnerships like this allow us to create memorable experiences for thousands of guests while showcasing our hospitality in entirely new settings.”
