On Wednesday, 10 September, we celebrated the most important thing in Compass Group: people.
More than 100 colleagues from across the country were invited to a long-table dinner full of surprises. Among the guests were also our Be A Star winners, whom we have the pleasure of celebrating this year.
The leadership team took charge of serving and spoiling our colleagues, who deliver exceptional effort and service every single day.
The event began with a welcome from CEO Thomas Kempf, who said:
“Today is a day where we show how much we appreciate the work you do. Because at Compass Group, we believe that everything we do starts with having satisfied employees who are happy to come to work.”
On the day, our Client Managers and CEO wore this year’s People Appreciation Week pin as a symbol of how important it is to recognise our employees. The invited colleagues also received a pin they can wear with pride in their everyday work.
Alina Zota, who attended the event and works as a kitchen assistant in one of our canteens, shared her experience:
“It’s such a wonderful initiative! It makes you feel special, and it’s great to meet so many colleagues.”
People Appreciation Week is a reminder that people are the most valuable part of Compass Group. This day was a tribute to all our colleagues who make a difference every day and create the best daily experiences for our customers.
