Compass Group takes over catering operations at six campuses of Copenhagen Business Academy

On 24 August, we opened the doors to our new canteens at six of Copenhagen Business Academy’s locations. The partnership will run for the next three years and marks the beginning of a close collaboration focused on developing food and dining experiences across the campuses.

Copenhagen Business Academy is Denmark’s largest business academy, providing education, teaching and research in close collaboration with the business community. Across the six campuses, the canteens play an important role as meeting places in everyday campus life – and this is something we want to strengthen.

Dennis Schultz, Head of Function at Copenhagen Business Academy, explains why they chose Compass Group as their partner:

“Throughout the entire process, we have had an open, constructive and professional dialogue with Compass Group. We chose Compass Group as our partner because they combine strong gastronomic expertise with extensive experience in the education sector and a clear understanding of the role the canteen plays in the student environment.”

At Compass Group, our ambition is to turn the canteens at Copenhagen Business Academy into vibrant meeting places. We serve food with a focus on seasonal ingredients, freshness, plant-based options and 60–90% organic produce. Through Social Dining, themed days and events, we create more opportunities for people to meet, share experiences and strengthen the sense of community.

Kristian Hofman-Bang, Operations Director at Compass Group, says about the partnership:

“Together with Copenhagen Business Academy, we share an ambition to create an attractive environment for both studying and working. Good food provides energy for learning and concentration, but the canteen is much more than a place to eat. It is one of the few places on campus where people meet across programmes, professional backgrounds and everyday routines. That is why we look forward to contributing to an even stronger study and working environment.”
