6. Use of personal data

We never pass on personal data to a third party unless you have explicitly given us your consent to do so; we never collect personal data unless you yourself have provided us with this information through registration, making a purchase, participating in a survey, etc. In such contexts, we collect information about you, such as your name, address, post code, email address, gender, age, interests, attitudes and familiarity with various topics.

The purpose of collecting this information is to allow us to execute the service for which we collected the data in question. You can contact us at the same address if there are errors in the data we have registered about you, or if you have other objections to our collecting your data. Protection of personal data

Under the Danish Personal Data Act, your personal data must be kept confidential and stored securely. We store your personal data on computers to which access is limited and which are located in controlled facilities. Our security precautions are checked regularly to ensure that we are processing information about our users responsibly and with full consideration for your rights as a user.

However, we cannot guarantee 100% security with regard to data transfers via the internet. This means there may be a small risk that non-authorised players could forcibly gain access to information when data are sent and stored electronically. Therefore, whenever you communicate personal information, you do so on your own responsibility.

Personal data are deleted or anonymised on an ongoing basis as the purposes for which they were collected are concluded. Personal data are stored for no more than 12 months after use.

The rapid development of the internet means that we may sometimes be obliged to alter the way in which we process personal data. We therefore reserve the right to update and amend the present guidelines for the processing of personal data. If we do so, we will naturally alter the “last updated” date at the bottom of this page. In the event of significant changes, we will always inform you via a highly visible notification on our websites.

To the extent that personal data about you are being processed, you are entitled under the provisions of the Danish Personal Data Act to be informed of which personal data, if any, can be traced to you. Should it transpire that there are errors in the information or data about you that are being processed, you are entitled to have the data corrected, deleted or blocked. You are entitled at any time to object to having information about you processed. You may also withdraw your consent at any time. You are entitled to submit complaints about the processing of information and data concerning you. Such complaints can be submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency, pursuant to Section 58 (1) of the Danish Data Protection Act.
