Danish Chefs Represent the Nordic Region at Culinary Cup

Today, two Danish colleagues are representing the entire Nordic region

Today, eight teams from across Europe are gathering in Copenhagen for Culinary Cup — Compass Group’s internal culinary competition, where creativity, precision, and gastronomic craftsmanship meet at the highest level.

We are proud that Compass Group Denmark has taken the lead in organising and hosting this year’s competition. And we are equally proud to send two of our own as representatives of the entire Nordic region: Kitchen Manager Rasmus Bundgaard Nielsen and Sous Chef Frederik Skov, with Ulrik Nielsen, Head of Food Excellence, as their coach.

As Ulrik says himself:

“I haven’t just followed Rasmus and Frederik on their journey to this day. I’ve stood beside them in the kitchen. I’ve seen techniques tested, rejected, and refined. The work they’ve put into their preparations is truly of a very special calibre.”

Culinary Cup is about more than competition. It is an investment in people and professional development, and a reminder that ambition and craftsmanship exist in our kitchens every single day.
