Congratulations to Marta Zielenska!
Our colleague Marta has recently graduated as a smørrebrød and catering assistant – and she did so with distinction.
Marta has been awarded the Copenhagen Craftsmen’s Association silver medal in the smørrebrød/catering category, as well as the Director Ib Henriksen Foundation travel grant. Both honours are awarded to newly qualified craftspeople who have demonstrated exceptional professional quality.
For Marta, the recognition is proof of the effort she has put into her development throughout her education:
“I have put a lot of heart and hard work into my development and my craft, so it makes me both proud and happy that it has been recognised and appreciated. I don’t see the medal as a goal in itself, but it motivates me to continue developing my skills within the profession,” says Marta.
At Compass Group, we work purposefully to ensure that more employees have the opportunity to gain an education and formal recognition of the skills they already possess. Because education is an investment in people, craftsmanship, the industry, and the 100,000 meals we serve every single day.
