For the third consecutive year, we are celebrating People Appreciation Week, where 100 colleagues from across the country have been invited to a long-table dinner. During the event, members of the leadership team serve and spoil colleagues who deliver exceptional service and commitment every day.
The day began with a welcome speech from our CEO, Thomas Kempf:
“I am proud to be the CEO of Compass Group Denmark. We remain committed to the belief that everything starts with satisfied employees. Satisfied employees create satisfied customers, and satisfied customers create a healthy business. It really is that simple.”
Carsten Christensen, who works in one of our canteens, is among the 100 invited guests, and for him the invitation means a great deal.
“It really makes you realise what a great place you work when initiatives like this are arranged. It is wonderful to meet colleagues in a different setting, and it is also nice to talk to colleagues you do not get to see very often.”
People Appreciation Week is a reminder that people are the most valuable asset in Compass Group. This day is a tribute to all our colleagues who make a difference every single day and help create the best possible experiences for one another, our customers, and our guests.
