They did it!
Representing the Nordic region, Rasmus Bundgaard Nielsen and Frederik Skov have won Culinary Cup Europe 2026 in Copenhagen.
“We are incredibly happy. We have worked extremely hard for this, and it has required a great deal of dedication. We have gone through intensive training and refined every single detail leading up to the competition.
It means a lot to us to stand together in Copenhagen and represent the Nordic region. The fact that it is ultimately our craftsmanship and flavours that shine through — that makes us truly proud.”
This year’s victory also means that the Nordic region has now won Culinary Cup three years in a row — a result of strong professional expertise, teamwork, and a continued focus on development.
But Culinary Cup is about more than the competition itself.
It is about community across borders. About colleagues from all over Europe coming together around a shared passion for food, quality, and hospitality. About the inspiration, relationships, and professional pride that emerge when people come together around their craft.
The standard among all eight teams was exceptionally high, and the competition once again demonstrated the immense dedication and creativity that exists across Compass Group in Europe.
A big thank you to all participants, coaches, judges, and colleagues who made Culinary Cup Europe 2026 something truly special.
And a huge congratulations to Rasmus, Frederik, and coach Ulrik!
