On Sunday, we brought Compass colleagues together around a meaningful sense of community.
At Compass Group, we place great value on the sense of community that connects us in our daily work. When we come together in new ways and have the opportunity to include our families, it creates an energy and togetherness that can also be felt on Monday morning.
On Sunday, our staff association invited colleagues and their families to a cozy day filled with Christmas workshops, dancing around the Christmas tree, visits from elves and Santa Claus, and plenty of festive cheer for both children and adults.
The day also featured a raffle, where our suppliers generously donated prizes, and all 300 tickets were sold thanks to the strong support.
All proceeds from both the raffle and ticket sales go in full to our charitable cause, Julemærkefonden, and Compass Group doubles the amount.
The Chair of the staff association and Head Chef at one of our canteens, Mona Malmborg, who also attended the event, shared her perspective on the importance of the day:
“I think it’s fantastic that our colleagues and their families support events like this. When we meet in a different setting, it gives us another perspective beyond work. It strengthens our sense of togetherness, and that’s something we bring back into our everyday work.”
Sunday’s event was a reminder of how much a strong community matters—both in everyday life and when we come together in new ways.
