September 12th, and for the third consecutive year, Agro Food Park opened its doors for the event “Food, Trends & Sustainability – an exciting day with a food market, workshops, talks, and much more. It all revolves around sustainability and the latest food trends.<\/p>\n

The day is a close collaboration between Agro Food Park, Compass Group, Food & Bio Cluster Denmark<\/a>\u00a0og\u00a0SEGES Innovation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fertilizing the Ground for New Innovation <\/strong><\/p>\n

Agro Food Park houses more than 100 companies, all working on innovation in the food sector. This includes both brand-new startups and more established companies. For Food, Trends & Sustainability, Agro Food Park opens its doors not only to the public but also to the companies themselves to facilitate networking opportunities.<\/p>\n

Claus Nisted, Customer Manager at Compass Group, is one of those behind the event: “We have a wealth of the latest knowledge gathered in one place. The day is about sharing as much as possible of our thoughts and ideas so that we can collectively become more knowledgeable in an important area and sow the seeds for future innovation.”<\/p>\n

The program included workshops on changing our eating habits towards sustainability, debates on the development and future of organic food, and presentations of the latest sustainable products.<\/p>\n

Taste the Art <\/strong><\/p>\n

In the evening, a team of some of our finest chefs treated the invited guests to a fantastic dinner. All senses were engaged, and in line with this year’s theme, “Taste the Art,” the food was accompanied by singers, ballet dancers, and painters.<\/p>\n

“It has been a fantastic event for the past two years, and this time undoubtedly lived up to our expectations – and then some! I am extremely proud of the kitchen team, who may have known each other somewhat haphazardly but worked together like a dream,” says Michelle Varney<\/a>, FOOD Excellence Manager and co-organizer of the event.<\/p>\n

A big thank you to Agro Food Park for hosting the event once again this year. We look forward to continuing the great collaboration and repeating the success for many years to come!<\/p>\n
